Each day, participants engage in activities, such as art or music therapy, which aid their mobility and mental health. Care is provided by trained and qualified personnel. A registered nurse is on staff to monitor each participant’s health and well being during their stay.
Art is an important part of the Adult Care Center’s activities. Some may think that people with Alzheimer’s or other brain conditions cannot take part in art because of their memory or thinking problems. However, by offering person-centered care, and focusing on each person’s abilities rather than their challenges, the Center helps them use their strengths to do their best.
Our sports medicine team provides specialized care for athletes of all ages and skill levels. We focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.
Is based on research about music, the brain, and culture. Different parts of the brain help process music, making it a powerful tool. This means that even people with brain conditions like Alzheimer’s disease can still respond to music in a normal way.
Everyone has personal memories linked to music, which can be recalled through different musical activities. These activities can be a powerful and meaningful form of therapy, especially for people with neurological or physical challenges.
